Jolien Develtere is a young Belgian jewelry brand with a rebellious edge. Apart from seasons, Jolien creates limited series and custom-made designs, inspired by nostalgic atmospheres and personal stories.
JOLIEN DEVELTERE
Following her creative intuition, Jolien, the inspiration behind the brand, organically found her way into the art and craft of goldsmithing.
After her studies in Psychology, she did an internship with the Antwerp jewelry design duo Wouters & Hendrix. She also worked for fashion designer Natascha von Hirsschausen in Berlin, while completing her studies as goldsmith and building her own atelier in Ghent.
INSPIRATION
Jolien is inspired by her travels and people she meets along the way, by art and local crafts but also by everyday simplicity and seemingly trivialities. There again, bringing out beauty is a satisfaction.
The timeless pieces reflect four styles and moods, independent of trends or seasons. All jewelry is custom made, in recycled silver, gold-plated silver or gold. Be inspired and release the rebel in you.
